How to easily fund your WAX account using your EOS account & Explore the WAX blockchain

With the release of the WAX Cloud Wallet playing games and using dApps on the WAX Blockchain has gotten orders of magnitude easier than playing games on EOS using an EOS account. In this article we are going to show you how to fill your WAX account with WAX using your EOS account so you can use the WAX to play games on the WAX blockchain. Since WAX is its own blockchain you will not be able to use your EOS account to use WAX dApps. This article is meant to show those with EOS accounts already how to migrate your EOS to WAX :)

Get Started Creating a WAX Cloud Wallet

STEP 1 To get started, first you will need a WAX Cloud Wallet account. WAX Cloud Wallet is a crypto wallet unlike any other, because it finally makes it easier to use apps on the Blockchain. It is as easy as logging in with one click and jumping straight to playing games just like you would any other games that are not on the blockchain. Unlike other crypto wallets that have five to ten steps before being able to login and use apps, the WAX Cloud Wallet is just two clicks using your favorite social platform such as Facebook, Twitter, Discord, Twitch, Google and much more. Once you have created your WAX Cloud Wallet and are logged in you should see your wallets Dashboard. Congratulations we have completed STEP 1

Logging Into Your EOS account

STEP 2 Now that you have your WAX Cloud Wallet we now want to put WAX in it so we can play the games and use the dApps on the WAX blockchain.

To fund your WAX Cloud Wallet using your EOS account we will first need to login to your EOS account using which ever login method you are accustomed to, for this guide we will be using Scatter for easiest user experience for EOS accounts.

Open Scatter and Login. If you do not have your EOS account imported into Scatter you can read this guide on how to do so here.

Now we have created our WAX Cloud Wallet and have successfully logged into our EOS account. Congratulations we have completed STEP 2

Funding the WAX Cloud Wallet using EOS account

STEP 3 to turn our EOS into WAX we must now click HERE to visit Newdex.com

On Newdex.com before logging in, verify you are logging in using the EOS network at the top left as shown below. It should be on the EOS network automatically but double check.

Next “Sign in”

Once you are signed in lets now go to the exchange pair EOS to WAX here

Once here you will see your EOS Balance and be given the option to trade it for WAX. Fill in the Total box with the amount of EOS you want to convert to WAX. In the Recieve box you will be putting your WAX Cloud Wallet account name.

Once you have filled out the fields Total & Receive it will look something like this

Click the “CPU free pending order (1 times remaining today)” if available.

Then click “Buy”. You will then be prompted with a Kind Warning that you will need to Click “Confirm” on.

Now that we have Clicked “Confirm” your transaction has been submitted and now you should have your WAX inside your WAX Cloud Wallet. Completed.

You have now successfully created a WAX Cloud Wallet and migrated your EOS to WAX using your EOS account. Now it is time to explore the WAX blockchain using your newly created and funded WAX Cloud Wallet.
